Brother Patrick consoled me and gave me this verse by Anthony Klinker:
God fashions the heart in sorrow,
He fashions the heart in pain,
God heals the ache when hearts would break
So they will be happy again.
Not long thereafter, he left the monastery, we knew not why, disappearing from our
lives as quietly as he had entered it.
Sonny and Billy returned to Saint Fidelis Seminary.
